Enjoy a spacious furnished room with use of private large adjacent furnished living area in the light-filled walkout basement of the gracious single family home of a retired female physician in North Bethesda. Although this is a basement, it does not look or feel like one because of the windows and sliding glass doors that open onto a patio and garden. The room has a Queen sized bed with ample furnishings, wifi, and private bathroom. Entrance is through the main house foyer - there is no separate entrance. There is a shared foyer entrance. You will also enjoy use of the house washer and dryer and reasonable use of the house kitchen (there is no separate kitchen), as well as outdoor deck and patio, and neighborhood pool and tennis courts in the summer. It's about a one mile walk to the grocery store and other shopping in a safe, lovely neighborhood. Off - street parking for one car available but it's not necessary to own a car to commute to NIH from here. Two cats live in the home but can be excluded from the basement area. No other pets are permitted. Smoking is not permitted. Utilities and linens are included. You can store a bike in the garage or in the tiled area just inside sliding glass doors of the living area adjacent to the room itself. $1000 a month, preferably with a commitment of at least 6 months, or $950 a month for a commitment of 12 months.
